Hellenism stands for the mergence of the western and eastern cultures. See the cultural dialog of civilizations reflected in their material culture.

  • 1st day: Arrival. Lecture by local archaeologist. Overnight in Amman;
  • 2nd day: Archaeology Museum at the Citadel, Amman Theater, Iraq al-Ameer (Hercanus’ palace), over night in Amman;
  • 3rd day: Jerash (ancient Gerasa), Beit Ras (ancient Capitolias), overnight in Irbed;
  • 4th day: Umm Qais (ancient Gadara), Tabqat Fahl (ancient Pella), overnight at the Dead Sea
  • 5th day: Dead Sea, the Hot springs of Kallirhoe and Herod’s villa (Ain az-Zara), Mukawer (Machaerus), overnight at the Dead Sea;
  • 6th day: Petra, overnight at Petra
  • 7th day: Wadi Rum, over night at Wadi Rum;
  • 8th day: Depending on the flights. Departure.

 

 

 

Prices

Flat rates (per person) for all the published archaeological tours

Individuals (2 people) - USD $2,150.
Groups of 5-10 - USD $1,750.
Groups of 11-15 - USD $1,550.

Additional person/Single Supplement - USD $210 (Optional)

Prices include:

1- Shared accommodations on FB basis (breakfast, lunchbox and dinner) in twin or double rooms;

2- Transportation to & from airport (QAIA) and archaeological sites;

3- English-speaking guide for the entire duration of the program;

4- Entry fees to sites;

5- All applicable taxes;

6- An Introductory lecture on the subject of the program by a local archaeologist.
